SCANDINAVIAN MID CENTURY ADJUSTABLE BURR BIRCH COFFEE TABLE CIRCA 1940.
WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER THIS STUNNING CIRCULAR BURR BIRCH OCCASIONAL TABLE FROM SWEDEN.
THICK CIRCULAR TOP WHICH HAS BEEN VENEERED IN A BEAUTIFUL BURR BIRCH AND A RICH GOLDEN COLOUR. THIS MODEL WAS DESIGNED TO SPLIT TO HAVE AN ADDITIONAL PINE LEAF INSERTED WHEN NEEDED, THE LEAF IS NO LONGER PRESENT. RAISED ON A TURNED BULBOUS STEM WITH FLUTED DETAIL WHICH LINKS TO THE PLATFORM BASE. RAISED ON 4 CARVED FEET.
HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE TO 30.2″ WHICH COULD ALLOW THIS TABLE TO BE USED AS A SMALL BREAKFAST TABLE.
RECENTLY FULLY RESTORED IN OUR WORKSHOP AND HAND RE-POLISHED. MINOR SURFACE FADING TO TOP SURFACE.
