PAIR OF MID 19TH CENTURY SCANDINAVIAN STOOLS CIRCA 1840.

AT THE TIME OF LISTING WE HAVE 2 PAIRS OF IDENTICAL STOOLS, VERY MUCH IN THE EMPIRE TASTE.

CURULE LIKE SHAPED SCROLLED LEGS, TRADITIONALLY UPHOLSTERED SEATS ARE COVERED IN AN OLD CALICO AND READY TO BE RE-COVERED. THESE SEATS SEAT ON A ROLL TOP SUPPORT ON THE FRAME AND ALLOWS YOU TO SEE UNDERNEATH.

STAINED IN A DARK BROWN TO LOOK LIKE MAHOGANY, WHICH HAS WORN IN PLACES.

MINOR SURFACE MARKS TO WOODWORK, 1 SMALL HOLE TO CALICO FABRIC. NATURAL SLIGHT WARPAGE TO LEGS, BUT STILL STANDING TRUE.
