19TH CENTURY GUSTAVIAN INFLUENCED CHEST OF DRAWERS CIRCA 1870.
GOOD QUALITY SCANDINAVIAN CHEST OF DRAWERS MADE IN PINE AND RE-PAINTED IN THE EARLY 20TH CENTURY INTO IT’S CURRENT BLUE/GREEN SCHEME.
RECTANGULAR TOP WITH FRONT CANTED CORNERS AND APPLIED MOULDING. FITTED WITH 4 GRADUATING DRAWERS AND LATER BRASS HANDLES AND KEY PLATES. FLOOR LEVEL MOULDING AND RAISED ON FRONT BUN FEET AND BLOCK FEET TO THE REAR.
PAINT FINISH IS SMOOTH LIKE A LACQUERED TYPE FINISH. EXPECTED SURFACE MARKS AND FADING. RESTORATION TO RE APPLY THE MOULDING TO THE TOP EDGE. READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
