Description

This early 20th century side table, circa 1920, is hand carved to simulate bamboo to a high standard, with the motif carried through the legs, stretchers, border and supports. The hessian covered top exposes its natural fibres, and the piece stands on four slightly splayed legs united by a cross over stretcher. Strong and sturdy with minor surface marks in line with age and use.
