LARGE DECORATIVE 19TH CENTURY COPPER STORAGE CHURN CIRCA 1870.

STUNNING CHURN/STILL OR WATER CONTAINER MADE IN COPPER, COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL PATINA.

BEEHIVE SHAPED WITH RIBBING AROUND THE BODY OF THE BARREL. COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL SHAPED LID WITH ROPE AND STAR DETAILING. ORGINAL HOOP INSIDE WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN USED TO HOLD A LADEL OR PADDLE IN PLACE WHEN CLOSED. HOOP CARRYING HANDLES TO EACH SIDE.

STUNNING DECORATIVE PIECE.

EXPECTED SURFACE MARKS AND INDENTATIONS. PRESENTED IN IT’S ORIGINAL PATINA, BUT COULD BE POLISHED TO A SHINY COPPER FINISH.
