Description

This Scandinavian Empire revival sofa table, circa 1900, is a fine quality Swedish piece made in mahogany. The rectangular flame mahogany top has drop leaves supported by bearers, giving an overall length of nearly 4 foot, and carries on across the front and back of the table. A single drawer to the front retains its working lock and key, while the column stem and turned collar finish on a shaped platform base with four heavily carved paw feet. Recently fully restored in our workshop and French polished by hand, it is ready for everyday use.
