Description

This Swedish chest of drawers, veneered in striking tiger birch, dates to circa 1870 and reflects the Empire style. Four equal drawers open on the key, framed by beaded edges and rounded front corners, with an over-sailing moulded top raised on shaped block feet. Areas of restoration to the lower woodwork have been carefully done in near-matching timber, and the piece has been hand re-polished in our workshop.
