MID 19TH CENTURY SWEDISH ALDER ROOT WALL CUPBOARD CIRCA 1860.

RARE AND STUNNING SWEDISH PIECE MADE IN ALDER. CORNICE TOP AND MOULDED EDGE TO THE BOTTOM. CROSS BANDED AND STRUNG DOUBLE DOORS OPEN TO REVEAL A PARTIALLY FITTED INTERIOR. LATER PAINTED INTERIOR WITH STARS ON A GREEN/BLUE BASE COLOUR, COMPLETED BY A PAIR OF SMALL DRAWERS FINISHED IN MATCHING ALDER TO THE EXTERIOR.

IDEAL FOR USE IN THE KITCHEN, HALLWAY OR EVEN AS A BATHROOM CABINET.

MINOR SURFACE MARKS TO WOODWORK. MINOR EVIDENCE OF OF DEAD INACTIVE WOOD WORM TO BACK BOARDS WHICH HAS BEEN TREATED.
