FINE EXAMPLE OF MID 19TH CENTURY SWEDISH TRADITIONAL DECORATION. BLUE/GREEN MAIN COLOUR WITH HAND PAINTED FLOWERS ON ALL VIEWABLE SURFACES. COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL STRAPWORK AND HANDLE. ORIGINAL LOCK, WHICH DOES WORK BUT IS A LOCK YOU HAVE TO LEARN TO USE AS IT CAN SEEM DIFFICULT TO START WITH. LID OPENS TO REVEAL A PLAIN PINE INTERIOR WITH CANDLE COMPARTMENT.
