SCANDINAVIAN 19TH CENTURY SMALL DOME TOP TRUNK CIRCA 1870.
HERE WE HAVE A DOME TOP CHEST OF SLIGHTLY SMALLER PROPORTIONS THAN USUAL, WHICH MAKES IT IDEAL FOR MOST ROOMS AROUND THE HOME.
MADE FROM PINE AND PRESENTED IN ORIGINAL PAINT AND CARRYING HANDLES TO EACH SIDE. THE SLIGHT DOMED LID OPENS AND HOLDS ITSELF IN PLACE. TRACES OF ORIGINAL PAPER LINING TO THE INTERIOR. NO KEY AND LOCK NO LONGER WORKING.
MINOR AGE SPLITS FROM SHRINKAGE BUT STRUCTURALLY STRONG. LOSSES AND FADING TO ORIGINAL PAINTWORK.
