MID 20TH CENTURY BURR BIRCH CHEST OF DRAWERS ON STAND CIRCA 1940.

FINE QUALITY SMALL SWEDISH CHEST OF DRAWERS ATTRIBUTED TO CARL MALMSTEN. DARK STAINED BIRCH FRAME, FITTED WITH 2 DRAWERS VENEERED IN BURR, FITTED WITH ORNATE DROPLET HANDLES AND KEY PLATES.

CHEST IS FURTHER DECORATED WITH BEADING TO THE FRONT. STANDING ON A CARVED BASE, WITH BULBOUS TURNED LEGS.

RECENTLY RE-FINISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP.
