Description

This large hand woven pine basket, circa 1880, is a fine example of traditional Swedish craft work, with pine strips woven between pine supports to form two carrying handles. Generously sized and ideal as a fireside log basket, it shows old repairs around the base and retains its original patina, offered in as found condition.

USING PINE STRIPS TO WEAVE BETWEEN PINE SUPPORTS AND CREATE 2 CARRYING HANDLES. IDEAL GENEROUS SIZED FIRE SIDE LOG BASKET.

OLD REPAIRS AROUND THE BASE. COULD BENEFIT FROM A CLEAN BUT WE ARE OFFERING IT IN AS FOUND CONDITION WITH IT’S ORIGINAL PATINA.
