SCANDINAVIAN ART DECO ELM AND BIRCH INLAID CABINET CIRCA 1940.
BEAUTIFUL QUALITY SWEDISH MADE CABINET WHICH WAS MADE DURING THE TRANSITION FROM ART DECO TO SWEDISH MODERN. MADE USING CONTRASTING TIMBERS AND COLOURS. TOP, SIDES AND FEET MADE IN BIRCH WHICH HAS BEEN STAINED DARK WHICH COMPLEMENTS THE GOLDEN ELM DOORS, WHICH HAVE BEEN EMBELLISHED WITH INLAY AND STRINGING AND TURNED BRASS HANDLES.
WORKING LOCKS AND KEY ALLOWS ACCESS TO THE DOUBLE DOOR INTERIOR. FITTED WITH 2 DRAWERS AND 2 SHELVES TO THE RIGHT, AND 2 SHELVES TO THE LEFT, DIVIDED BY A CENTRAL PARTITION.
RECENTLY FULLY RESTORED IN OUR WORKSHOP, MAINTAINING THE ORIGINAL COLOUR AND RE-POLISHED BY HAND. STUNNING PIECE AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
