WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER THIS STUNNING SCANDINAVIAN WRITING DESK, WITH ART NOUVEAU AND DECO INFLUENCES.
VENEERED IN A STUNNING GOLDEN BIRCH, WITH OCCASIONAL BURR GRAIN TO THE SURFACES. SPACIOUS WRITING SURFACE WITH A MOULDED SIDE AND BACK EDGE. 3 DRAWERS ABOVE THE KNEE WHICH OPEN ON THE KEY COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL HERALDIC ESCUTHEONS AND OFFERING A COMFORTABLE KNEE HEIGHT OF 24.5 INCHES. RAISED ON A SLIGHT CABRIOLE LEG AND A SHAPED FOOT. FINISHED ON THE REVERSE WHICH MAKES THIS DESK FREE STANDING IF DESIRED.
RECENTLY RE-POLISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP, MAINTAINING THAT RICH GOLDEN COLOUR FURNITURE OF THIS PERIOD SHOULD BE. MINOR AND VERY SLIGHT RIPPLING TO VENEER TO TOP SURFACE WHICH HAS BEEN RESTORED. READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
