SUPERBLY HAND MADE TABLE WHICH FLIPS TO FORM A CHAIR, OFTEN KNOW AS A MONKS BENCH. MADE BY MARTIN HOKANSEN BOSTON MASS USA, ALTHOUGH THIS PIECE IS UNSIGNED WE HAVE OTHER PIECES OF HIS WORK AND THEY ARE IDENTICAL IN STYLE AND TECHNIQUE.

SUPERB QUALITY POKER WORK FROM THIS MAKER, DEPICTING LIONS, FLORALS AND SHELLS.

BAIZE SURFACE ON THE FLIP TOP IS CURRENTLY A BLACK FELT, WHICH COULD EASILY BE RE-COVERED IN SOMETHING MORE FITTING.
