18TH CENTURY IRISH DROP LEAF MAHOGANY DINING TABLE CIRCA 1770.
WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER THIS STUNNING IRISH DROPLEAF TABLE OF GENEROUS PROPORTIONS.
MAINTAINING IT’S COLOUR AND PATINA, A LEG EACH SIDE SWINGS OUT TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR THE LEAVES TO FORM A NEAR CIRCULAR TOP SURFACE. RAISED ON 4 ELEGANT CABRIOLE LEGS WITH ACANTHUS LEAF DETAIL ON THE KNEE, STANDING ON A BALL AND CLAW FOOT.
GOOD SOLID AND HEAVY TABLE DUE TO THE TIMBER USED.
1 SMALL AREA OF OLD RESTORATION TO 1 LEAF WHICH HAS BEEN PHOTOGRAPHED. MINOR SURFACE MARKS IN LINE WITH AGE AND USE. RECENTLY RE-POLISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
