Description

This traditional Scandinavian butter churn, crafted in pine around 1870, is a rare survival in original condition, complete with its original lid and paddle. The pine frame is held in place by four cane straps, and the piece shows evidence of dead, inactive treated wood worm. A charming rustic decorative piece for the hallway, it would also work beautifully as a stick umbrella stand.
