LARGE RUSTIC DUGOUT HAND CARVED BOWL CIRCA 1900.
HAND MADE EASTERN EUROPEAN BOWL. THESE TYPES OF BOWLS WERE OFTEN USED TO FEED LIVESTOCK. MADE FROM A SOLID TREE TRUNK SECTION AND HOLLOWED OUT USING AN ADZED TECHNIQUE.
THIS BOWL IS PRESENTED IN A LACQUERED FINISH, MAKING IT IDEAL FOR A TABLE DISPLAY OR RETAIL PURPOSES.
MINOR TRACES OF DEAD INACTIVE WORM WHICH HAS BEEN TREATED. EXPECTED SURFACE MARKS FROM AGE AND USE.
