Description

This Swedish mid century open bookcase, circa 1950, is beautifully made with an elm veneered top and sides and a simple, elegant design. The main body offers three adjustable shelves, while a single full-length lockable cupboard to the right conceals four more. It stands on a stained contrasting plinth base and has recently been fully re-polished in our workshop, with minor surface marks to the woodwork.

BEAUTIFUL QUALITY SWEDISH MADE OPEN BOOKCASE. SIMPLE BUT VERY ELEGANT DESIGN WHICH LENDS ITSELF TO MODERN AND TRADITIONAL INTERIORS.

ELM VENEERED TOP AND SIDES, SINGLE FULL LENGTH CUPBOARD TO THE RIGHT HAND SIDE, LOCKABLE AND OPENS TO REVEAL 4 ADJUSTABLE SHELVES INSIDE. MAIN BODY CONTAINS 3 ADJUSTABLE SHELVES. STANDING ON A STAINED CONTRASTING PLINTH BASE.

RECENTLY FULLY RE-POLISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE. MINOR SURFACE MARKS TO WOODWORK.
