SWEDISH HAND PAINTED 19TH CENTURY PINE CHEST OF DRAWERS CIRCA 1840.
PAINTED USING A TRADITIONAL RAGWORK TECHNIQUE IN A GREEN BASE COLOUR. MADE FROM SOLID PINE WITH 3 DEEP DRAWERS THIS CHEST OF DRAWERS IS OF GRAND PROPORTIONS. STEPPED TOP SURFACE WITH DENTIL DETAILING JUST BELOW. TOP DRAWER FITTED WITH 2 PARTITIONS.
LATER ORNATE HANDLES AND ESCUTHEON PLATES. STANDING ON BRACKET FEET.
EXPECTED AND CLEAR LOSSES TO ORIGINAL PAINTWORK. LOSS TO WOODWORK ON BOTTOM OF TOP DRAWER WHICH IS VISIBLE IN PICTURES. EXPECTED SURFACE MARKS TO WOODWORK.
