SWEDISH EARLY 19TH CENTURY PAINTED PINE CHEST CIRCA 1802.

FINE QUALITY HAND PAINTED BLANKET BOX/COFFER FROM SWEDEN. PRESENTED IN IT’S ORIGINAL RAGWORK HAND PAINTED COLOUR SCHEME, COMPLETE WITH ORIGINAL STRAP WORK, HINGES AND SIDE CARRYING HANDLES.

RECTANGULAR SHAPED WITH HAND PAINTED LID AND COLOURED METAL CORNER BRACES. PAINTED INITIALS AND DATE TO THE FRONT. LID OPENS TO REVEAL A PARTIALLY FITTED INTERIOR, COMPRISING OF THE STANDARD CANDLE BOX WITH FURTHER PULL OUT DRAWERS, 1 DRAWER IS NO LONGER PRESENT.

STANDING ON BUN FEET, NO LOCK AND NO KEY PRESENT.
