FINE QUALITY SET OF DINING CHAIRS MADE IN FINLAND BY ADELTA TO A DESIGN BY FINNISH DESIGNER ELIEL SAARINEN. SAARINEN IS A VERY WELL DESIGNER WHO MOVED TO AMERICA BECOMING THE PRESIDENT OF THE CRANBROOK ACADEMY OF ART. ONE OF SAARINEN’S DESIGN PROJECTS FROM THE 1920’S, THE SELF TITLED SAARINEN HOUSE BECAME AN ART DECO MASTERPIECE AND IS NOW A MUSEUM, WITH THESE CHAIRS FEATURING IN THE DINING ROOM.
BEAUTIFULLY SHAPED SHELL BACKS WITH LINED BLACK LACQUER WORK, STANDING ON COMPLIMENTARY BLACK LACQUERED LEGS. UPHOLSTERY IN A BLACK FABRIC.
EACH WITH MAKERS LABEL ON THE UNDERSIDE WITH ISSUE NUMBER.
