Description

This Scandinavian wastepaper bin, designed by Martin Aberg and produced by Servex, dates to circa 1960. Shaped teak ply forms the exterior around a slightly contrasting lighter birch interior, giving a rich golden colour. Stamped on the bottom with an applied advertising label of the time, it shows only minor surface marks and very minor losses typical of the piece—a design classic ready for everyday use.

TEAK SHAPED PLY AROUND THE OUTSIDE WITH A SLIGHT CONTRASTING LIGHTER BIRCH INTERIOR. STAMPED ON THE BOTTOM WHICH AN APPLIED ADVERTISING LABEL OF THE TIME.

MINOR SURFACE MARKS, AND VERY MINOR LOSSES TO WOODWORK WHICH IS TYPICAL WITH THIS PIECE. RICH GOLDEN COLOUR AND A DESIGN CLASSIC READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
