FINE EXAMPLE OF TRADITIONAL SWEDISH HAND PAINTED WOODENWARE.

SLIGHT DOME TOPPED LID WHICH OPENS TO REVEAL A UNFITTED INTERIOR. PLUM COLOURED BASE COLOUR, DECORATED IN HAND PAINTED FLORALS, CONTRASTING BLUE EDGES AND PAINTED INITIALS TO THE FRONT.

ORIGINAL HINGES AND LOCK BUT NO KEY. EVIDENCE OF MINOR WORM WHICH IS NOW DEAD INACTIVE AND TREATED. EXPECTED MINOR LOSSES AND AGE SPLITS, SURFACE FADING AND MARKS, BUT STILL CAPABLE OF FUNCTIONING AS A STORAGE BOX FOR EVERYDAY USE.
