Description

This fine pair of French carved oak armchairs, circa 1870, offers profuse carving throughout, with dogs and acanthus leaves to the shaped arms and further detail to the front rail and legs. The upholstered arms come with an extra seat pad for added comfort. The fabric shows expected signs of wear and fading, though the chairs remain in good usable condition and would reward re-upholstery.
