PAIR OF CARVED 19TH CENTURY REGENCY CHAIRS CIRCA 1820.
SUPERB QUALITY PAIR OF REGENCY DINING CHAIRS WHICH COULD NOW FUNCTION AS A PAIR OF SIDE OR HALLWAY CHAIRS. BEAUTIFULLY HAND CARVED IN BEECH AND HAND PAINTED TO SIMULATE ROSEWOOD COLOUR AND GRAIN.
SHAPED BACKS, HAND CARVED WITH HONEYSUCKLE AND ACANTHUS LEAVES, FURTHER DECORATED WITH APPLIED BRASS MOUNTS. BRASS STRINGING WHICH RUNS FROM THE SEAT DOWN TO THE TIP OF THE FRONT LEGS. CANE WORK SEATS IN GOOD ORDER. STANDING ON 4 SABRE LEGS.
