This elegant pair of mahogany armchairs, circa 1890, reflects the strong influence of Chippendale design. Each chair has a shaped back with carved scrolling arms finished in shepherds crook form, acanthus leaf detail to the knee and a carved rail, standing on front pad feet. Showing minor surface marks from use, the seat covers remain serviceable but would benefit from re-covering.

MINOR SURFACE MARKS FROM USE. SEAT COVERS ARE IN USEABLE CONDITION, BUT WOULD BENEFIT FROM BEING RE-COVERED.
