Description

This Swedish birch chest of drawers, circa 1950, takes its cue from Baroque design with a shaped top surface and four equally proportioned shaped drawers below. Unusually made in birch, it retains ornate brass handles and escutcheons, working locks and key, and stands on turned bun feet. Recently fully hand re-polished in our workshop, it shows a good rich colour and is ready for everyday use around the home.

BEAUTIFUL CHEST OF DRAWERS OF SMALLER PROPORTIONS AND UNUSUALLY MADE IN BIRCH. SHAPED TOP SURFACE WITH 4 SHAPED DRAWERS OF EQUAL PROPORTIONS BELOW. EACH DRAWER FITTED WITH ORNATE BRASS HANDLES AND ESCUTHEONS. WORKING LOCKS AND KEY. STANDING ON TURNED FRONT BUN FEET AND BLOCK FEET TO THE REVERSE.

GOOD RICH COLOUR AND RECENTLY FULLY HAND RE-POLISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP, READY FOR EVERYDAY USE AROUND THE HOME.
