Description

A fine quality mid century Rococo Revival commode, circa 1960, in mahogany with a marble top and beautifully applied ormolu and brass decoration. A single drawer below the top has a drop down front concealing two fitted drawers, with fluted columns to the sides. The marble top is loose fitting and can be fixed in place, with minor surface marks in line with use.

SINGLE DRAWER BELOW THE TOP, WITH A DROP DOWN FRONT THAT CONCEALS 2 FITTED DRAWERS. BEAUTIFULLY APPLIED ORMOLU AND BRASS DECORATION. FLUTED COLUMNS TO THE SIDES.

MARBLE TOP IS LOOSE FITTING AND CAN BE FIXED IN PLACE.

MINOR EXPECTED SURFACE MARKS IN LINE WITH USE, WE HAVE A CHEST OF DRAWERS NEAR IDENTICAL TO THIS WITH A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT COLOUR.
