Description

This French walnut commode, circa 1950, offers a bombe silhouette in the Rococo taste with three drawers fitted with ornate handles and key plates. The parquetry drawer fronts and sides are accented with stringing, while decorative mounts adorn the area below the top and the feet. A grey marble top shows lighter grey and faint red veining, and oak drawer linings speak to lasting quality. There are minor surface marks to the woodwork, leaving it ready for everyday use.
