MID 20TH CENTURY SWEDISH BIRCH BOWFRONT SIDEBOARD CIRCA 1940.
ELEGANT AND FINE QUALITY PIECE OF MID CENTURY FURNITURE FROM SWEDEN. SHAPED TOP WITH REEDED EDGE, BELOW WHICH A DOUBLE DOOR CUPBOARD FLANKED EITHER SIDE BY A SINGLE DOOR CUPBOARD. CENTRAL CUPBOARD FITTED WITH 2 SHELVES AND A HALF SHELF SHARING SPACE WITH 2 DRAWER SLIDES. SINGLE DOOR CUPBOARDS SHARE 7 SHELVES BETWEEN THEM, EACH FITTED WITH METALWORK WHICH ALLOWS THE CUSTOMER TO SET THEIR OWN HEIGHT AND CONFIGURATION.
DECORATED WITH A STRIKING PALISANDER VENEER ALONG THE BOTTOM EDGE. STANDING ON TAPERING FEET.
RECENTLY RE-POLISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP, RESTORATIONS TO VENEER ON SIDE PLEASE SEE PICTURE.
