MID 20TH CENTURY MAHOGANY 3 PIECE BEDROOM SUITE BY SMF BODAFORS CIRCA 1950.
STUNNING SET COMPRISING OF A CHEST OF DRAWERS AND A PAIR OF BEDSIDE TABLES, DESIGNED BY WELL KNOWN SWEDISH DESIGNER AXEL LARSSON (1898-1975) FOR SWEDISH COMPANY BODAFORS.
3 DRAWER CHEST OF DRAWERS WITH SHAPED FLOWING LINES AND FITTED WITH BRASS HANDLES. USUALLY THESE CHESTS ARE PAINTED ON THE DRAWER FRONTS, MAKING THIS ONE RARER FROM THE NORM. PRESENTED WITH A PAIR OF MATCHING BEDSIDE TABLES.
EACH PIECE BARES THE MAKERS LABEL INSIDE THE DRAWER.
THESE PIECES HAVE JUST BEEN RESTORED AND RE-POLISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP.
