This Swedish Empire stool, made in birch around 1850, has shaped support handles that flow through to four splayed legs. It retains its original floral tapestry seat covering, with expected fading, and minor restorations to the woodwork along with additional metalwork to the legs for support. Ready for everyday use at a dressing table, in the hallway or beside the piano.
