LATE 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY PIANO STOOL CIRCA 1880.

CIRCULAR ADJUSTABLE SEAT WITH LATER FABRIC COVERING. SEAT ROTATES ON A TURNED SPINDLE TO GIVE A HEIGHT OF 24 1/2″. MACHINED BRASS COLLAR SITS ON TOP OF THE TURNED COLUMN SUPPORT, STANDING ON 3 SPLAYED LEGS WITH FLUTED DETAILING.

GOOD COLOUR AND PATINA. AS ALWAYS WITH THESE TYPES OF STOOLS, THE HIGHER IT IS EXTENDED THE LESS STABLE IT BECOMES.
