LARGE OPEN SWEDISH ART DECO BIRCH BOOKCASE CIRCA 1930.
STUNNING 1 PIECE ART DECO OPEN BOOKCASE WITH CUPBOARDS. WE ARE PLEASE TO OFFER THIS BOOKCASE WHICH HAS JUST BEEN FULLY RESTORED IN OUR WORKSHOP AND PRESENTED IN IT’S ORIGINAL GOLDEN BIRCH COLOUR.
MADE IN 1 PIECE, THE MAIN DISPLAY AREA OFFERS 2 LARGE APERTURES WITH A SINGLE ADJUSTABLE SHELF, EITHER SIDE OF A CENTRAL PARTITION. IDEAL FOR BOOK DISPLAY OR ORNAMENTS. BELOW THE STEPPED SURFACE ARE 2 DROP DOWN DOORS, WITH BRASS SUSPENSION HINGES, WHICH PROVIDE HEALTHY STORAGE WHICH CAN BE LOCKED WITH A KEY. THESE DOORS ARE DECORATED WITH A QUARTER VENEERED INSET PANEL.
STANDING ON BLOCK FEET, WITH A TYPICAL DECO SLIGHT ANGLE TO THE FRIEZE.
