This French painted metalwork folding table, circa 1920, pairs a two-plank top bearing traces of original red paint with an iron frame raised on tubular trestle legs with folding supports. Showing light stabilised rusting, fading and paint losses, together with minor age splits to the woodwork, it folds away neatly when not needed and remains ready for everyday use.
