Description

This early 20th century Scandinavian wooden doctors bag, circa 1920, is a charming novelty piece with practical uses. Shaped like a doctors bag and made from moulded beech wood ply, it retains its original colour and patina, with a turned handle, metal twisted brackets and a lock secured by a pair of metal latches. Recently re-polished in our workshop, it shows only minor surface marks to the woodwork.

GOOD QUALITY NOVELTY ITEM WITH PRACTICAL USES. MADE FROM MOLDED BEECH WOOD PLY AND SHAPED LIKE A DOCTORS BAG.

ORIGINAL COLOUR AND PATINA. TURNED HANDLE WITH METAL TWISTED BRACKETS. TOP SECURED WITH LOCK AND A PAIR OF METAL LATCHES. HINGED LID OPENS TO PLAIN INTERIOR.

MINOR SURFACE MARKS TO WOODWORK, RECENTLY RE-POLISHED IN OUR WORKSHOP.
