Description

This unusual child's carriage, possibly Chinese and dating to circa 1900, is made from shaped bamboo bound in the traditional way, with additional ironwork supports. The seat backs flip over so two children can sit back to back or facing one another, while the wheels have later been fitted with plastic cord for comfort. Showing minor surface marks, it makes a good quality quirky display piece.
