This rustic Swedish sideboard, made of solid pine and dating to circa 1810, retains its original scraped-back paint in red. The gallery top with carved detail sits above two deep drawers and a fielded panel double door cupboard with moulded detailing, original lock and key, and two fixed shelves. Standing on short tapered feet, it shows honest losses to the paintwork and surface marks that speak to its age.

TOP SURFACE WITH GALLERY AROUND THE BACK AND SIDES, WITH CARVED DETAIL. BELOW THE TOP SURFACE ARE 2 DEEP DRAWERS, WHICH HAVE 2 NAILS FOR HANDLES. THESE DRAWERS COULD BE FITTED WITH ALTERNATIVE HANDLES UPON CUSTOMER REQUEST.

FIELDED PANEL DOUBLE DOOR CUPBOARD WITH MOULDED DETAILING, OPENS TO REVEAL AN INTERIOR OF 2 FIXED SHELVES. DOOR HAS ORIGINAL LOCK AND KEY.

THE BACK BOARDS THEMSELVES ARE RUSTIC WHOLE TIMBER PLANKS, MAKING THIS PIECE QUITE HEAVY.

STANDING ON SHORT TAPERED FEET.
