Description

This 19th century French chiffonier sideboard, circa 1870, is made in rich mahogany with a flame mahogany veneered top surface. The carved scroll gallery and two shelves sit above two drawers and a double door cupboard with moulded fronts, working lock and key. Recently fully restored with minor restorations to the woodwork, it stands on a plinth base ready for everyday use.

GOOD QUALITY SIDEBOARD MADE IN RICH MAHOGANY. TOP SECTION WITH CARVED SCROLL GALLERY AND 2 SHELVES SUPPORTED BY TURNED SUPPORTS. 2 DRAWERS BELOW THE TOP SURFACE, WHICH IS VENEERED IN A GOOD QUALITY FLAME MAHOGANY.

DOUBLE DOOR CUPBOARD BELOW THE DRAWERS WITH MOULDED FRONTS, REVEALING AN INTERIOR OF 2 SHELVES, WITH WORKING LOCK AND KEY.

STANDING ON A PLINTH BASE.

MINOR RESTORATIONS TO WOODWORK, RECENTLY FULLY RESTORED AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
