WE ARE PLEASED TO OFFER THIS RARE PIECE OF TRADITIONAL FURNITURE CIRCA 1801.

THIS PIECE WAS MADE AND PAINTED IN A VILLAGE CALLED TUNA (Tuna måleri), CLOSE TO DALARNA AND Hälsingland. THIS TYPE OF PAINT WORK WAS ONLY DONE FOR A PERIOD OF AROUND 10 YEARS.

ORIGINAL PAINTWORK IN DESIRABLE BLUE SHADES. TOP SECTION WITH 2 FIXED SHELVES AND 2 FITTED DRAWERS, INSCRIBED ON THE DOORS ‘ANNO 1801’ AND INITIALS ON THE RIGHT HAND DOOR.

BOTTOM DOUBLE DOOR CUPBOARD OPENS TO REVEAL A SINGLE FIXED SHELF. STANDING ON ORIGINAL BRACKET FEET.

OBVIOUS WEAR TO PAINTWORK, VERY MINOR LOSSES TO WOODWORK. 1 REPLACED HANDLE TO INTERNAL DRAWER.
