Description

This early 18th century Rococo bombe chest of drawers, circa 1730, is a striking piece veneered in plum, its parquetry finely arranged in angled squares and cross banded in the same timber. The elegant bombe form houses three drawers retaining their original handles and escutcheons, standing on splayed feet. Recently re-finished in our workshop, it remains ready for everyday use nearly 300 years on.
