Description

This decorative hand painted Swedish box, made of pine in the Gustavian style around 1840, was found on our travels around Scandinavia. Yellow florals are painted over a brown base, with original strap work, hinges and a working lock and key. The interior has been later painted for cleaner storage, and with only expected minor surface marks it remains in fantastic condition, ready for everyday use.
