Description

This 20th century Rococo Revival clock by the well known Swedish maker Westerstrand is richly carved and gilt, circa 1950. It retains its original pendulum and houses a twin train 8 day movement, with an enamel face bearing Arabic numerals and ornate pierced hands. Carved florals surmount the central face, flanked by gilt cornucopiae, above a plinth base with carved swags. There are minor losses to the gilt work, and we recommend servicing for accurate timekeeping.
