This 19th century Swedish painted pine log box, circa 1870, is a fine example of rustic furniture made with available timbers. Constructed from various sized pine planks secured with nails to an inner frame, it is painted blue on one end. Showing obvious signs of wear and fading yet structurally strong, it remains ready for everyday use.

MADE BY SECURING VARIOUS SIZED PINE PLANKS WITH NAILS TO AN INNER FRAME, PAINTED BLUE ON 1 END. DIMENSIONS OF THIS PIECE MAKES IT IDEAL FOR A LOG BIN OR EVEN STORAGE IN THE HALLWAY FOR SHOES AND UMBRELLAS.

OBVIOUS SIGNS OF WEAR AND FADING, BUT STRUCTURALLY STRONG AND READY FOR EVERYDAY USE.
