This mid 19th century shepherds crook oak armchair, circa 1840, is made from solid oak and offers real character. The shaped back features fret work to the back rest, with deep shepherds crook shaped arms and straight legs united by a stretcher. A good quality drop in leather seat completes the piece, showing expected marks to the leather. Its proportions lend themselves well to use as a desk chair.
