19TH CENTURY SCANDINAVIAN PINE WORKBENCH CIRCA 1890.

HERE WE HAVE A FINE EXAMPLE OF A PIECE OF WORKING FURNITURE WHICH WE PURCHASED ON OUR TRAVELS FROM AROUND SWEDEN.

TYPICAL L SHAPED BENCH, WITH REAR TROUGH. HAND TURNED CLAMP TO THE LEFT HAND SIDE. ADJUSTABLE CLAMP TO THE END OF THE RIGHT HAND SIDE FOR HOLDING WOODWORK. STANDING ON A TRESTLE BASE WITH THE CENTRAL STRETCHERS WHICH FORM A STORAGE TROUGH FOR TOOLS AND WOODWORK.

OBVIOUS LOSSES TO WOODWORK, SURFACE MARKS, FADING AND STAINING. IDEAL FOR USE AS A BRUTALIST SIDEBOARD, DECORATION OR FOR AS IT’S PRIMARY FUNCTION.
