19TH CENTURY EMPIRE REVIVAL MAHOGANY SIDE TABLE CIRCA 1870.
STRIKING SWEDISH EMPIRE SIDE TABLE, IDEAL FOR USE AS A LAMP TABLE OR IN THE HALL.
RECTANGULAR TOP WITH FRONT CANTED CORNERS AND CONCAVE SHAPED FRONT. 1 PIECE VENEERED TOP SURFACE. BELOW THE TOP IS A SINGLE DRAWER WHICH OPENS ON THE KEY. DRAWER IS FITTED WITH PARTITIONS AND LINED WITH A CRUSH VELVET.
TOP SUPPORTED BY A URN SHAPED BASE, STANDING ON A QUADRIFORM BASE WITH SMALL BUN FEET.
RECENTLY RE-POLISHED. BY AGE SPLIT TO TOP SERVICE, BUT NON STRUCTURAL. RESTORATIONS TO VENEER, MINOR SURFACE MARKS FROM USE.
