FINE EXAMPLE OF WORK MADE BY BERNARD ROOKE (b1938)
WELL KNOWN FOR HIS BRUTALIST ART FORMS AND ORGANIC FEEL. THIS LAMP WAS PURCHASED DIRECTLY FROM ROOKE’S SWILLAND STUDIO IN SUFFOLK, ENGLAND DURING THE 1970’s AND HAS REMAINED IN THE FAMILY SINCE, WE HAVE 2 IN STOCK.
MEASURING AT 15 1/2″ FROM BASE TO LIGHT FITTING, IT’S A GOOD SIZED EXAMPLE. SIGNED TO THE BASE, ‘ROOKE’.
EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION, CURRENTLY WIRED TO A UK 3 PIN PLUG. SOLD AS UNTESTED.
