Description

This Scandinavian low open bookcase, made in Sweden circa 1950, is veneered in elm with striking burr detailing to the drawers. Rectangular in form with rounded front edges, it offers two partially concealed central drawers, open book storage with a single adjustable shelf, and flanking cupboard doors each with a fixed shelf. There is minor restoration to one back edge, evidence of previously treated worm, and light surface marks; the piece has been fully restored and hand polished in our workshop.
